About Me

Hi, I’m Alex Salameh — a rising junior in UX Design at Purdue University who enjoys turning complex ideas into clear, thoughtful experiences. I work with small teams to design interfaces and digital experiences that are intuitive and effective.

Linear Background

I got into UX Design as a way to combine visual design with structured problem solving. Since then, I’ve worked on projects that have shaped how I think about building clear, usable systems. This portfolio reflects that process.

I start by understanding the problem, the user, and what success looks like. From there, I structure the experience and design interfaces that are simple and usable. My process is iterative, with a focus on feedback and making decisions clear.

I work across UX and UI, including user flows, wireframing, and interface design. I build responsive layouts, think through interaction states, and carry work from concept to handoff. I use tools like Figma, FigJam, and Adobe Creative Cloud.

I focus on curiosity, clarity, collaboration, and consistency. I aim to understand real constraints, reduce friction, work well with others, and keep systems cohesive. I’m interested in designing user flows and interfaces, conducting research and testing, and exploring new tools and interaction patterns.
